Balenciaga’s show in Paris overlooked the Place de la Concorde and wowed the Holt Renfrew vice-president of fashion direction, Barbara Atkin. According to her, Balenciaga’s Fall 2011 was the type of show a buyer could walk into the showroom and say, “I’ll take it all”.
